Three years ago on this day, Silky the Cat went to pussy cat heaven. He was just a few weeks shy of 15 years old.

Silky was your typical cat, in that he was kind of an asshole to people, but only in the best way. He liked looking out the window, sleeping, eating, sleeping, biting and scratching when he was in a bad mood, and sleeping.

He also had something of a “reputation” for being vicious whenever he went to the vet, to the point where work gloves had to be used whenever he went there. But he was still a sweetheart, in his own Silky way.

This video I took back in 2010 more or less sums Silky up pretty well…
