Today is Russell Hornsby’s birthday!

Hornsby is an actor who was born in Oakland, California. Some of his roles include: Edward Sutton on Lincoln Heights, Luke on In Treatment, Detective Hank Griffin on Grimm (a show I loved) and Lyons in the movie Fences, Isaiah Butler in Seven Seconds, and Maverick Carter in The Hate U Give.

Next Hornsby is set to star in Lincoln, a series picked up by NBC based on The Bone Collector.
