The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner was Episode 9 during the fourth season of Are You Afraid of the Dark?
The episode synopsis – “Ethan and Hooper must stop an evil comic-book character from destroying the world with ghastly giggling.”
The Ghastly Grinner kind of reminds me of a mash up between Marvel Comics’ Madcap and DC Comics’ Joker.
