Good morning everyone, and happy Friday!

Not much clever to say today (“but how is that different than usual, Chip?”), other than…jeez.

If you had asked me in 2015 what I envisioned the last 2-3 years to be like, there is a 0% chance I would have picked this flaming garbage fire that we currently exist in.

Some of the signs were there, sure. America had shown that they were already willing to elect noted idiot George W Bush. Twice! And Mitch “Marblemouth” McConnell had been dismantling our institutions fairly obviously during Obama’s second term.

But still. You think you have some faith in something to course correct, and then this happens.

I dunno. I’ve run out of things to gripe about. Post away!
