Recap of last round:

• The quarterfinals was mostly a series of blowouts, as our top 3 seeds established their reputations as true heavyweights. The average margin of victory in those matches was 23.33-7.33
• We did have one tight match, however, as #4 Here Comes a Thought just barely snuck by #5 Peace and Love on the Planet Earth, winning 15-13
• A fun quirk of the seeding; one semifinal match will determine the best Garnet song between #1 Stronger Than You and #4 Here Comes a Thought, while the other will determine the best Pearl song between #2 It’s Over Isn’t It and #3 Do It for Her
• And finally, today’s header once again recognizes a stone cold classic slain before its time by our top seed. But don’t be too sad; after all, what’s the use of feeling blue?
