DHS Secretary Kirstjen “Superfluous J” Nielsen was fired I mean resigned. (I wish I could do strikethroughs in headers, get it together Disqus.) In her place is some guy whose name I haven’t bothered to learn yet but he sounds awful. Par for the course, I guess. Either way when it comes to Nielsen, according to this NY Times story, she considered resigning months ago after Trump chewed her out in a meeting, but changed her mind and began parroting his talking points even harder, all of which made me think of this proving-to-be-evergreen tweet from Sarah Kendzior:
