Hey, all; Happy Friday –
Hope everyone’s dong well. For those not in the know, or for those who simply couldn’t give a damn, I took a few days off for PAX East this past week; as I do, every year. As this is not the thread for it, I won’t bore you with the details, (Thanks though, to everyone who did contribute to that thread; hope you all enjoyed yourselves!) except that it was enjoyable, restful, head-clearing…And completely undone by the week that followed. (Protip about days off: Did you know your work doesn’t get done for you even though you’re not there?! Crazy, I know.)
Indeed, things have been so out-of-sorts for me, I’ll admit to not even thinking of a topic for this week. However, I then remembered a suggestion put forth in last week’s posting from fellow ranter about possibly talking about how to deal with annoying co-workers in a future thread.
Well, guess what, my dear little mus periculo? The future is now; and it’s all thanks to you! (What, you thought I was kidding when I said “Cheerfully stolen?” You obviously don’t know just how lazy I can be.) However, in addition to any and all rants pertaining to that topic and others, I’d also like to consider this a “test-bed” of sorts. While typically, I’m all too happy to let you folks go off about all and sundry, if anyone has a suggestion that they think would make for a wider and more focused discussion, in a future posting I encourage you to bring it up. We’re all creative complainers, here, after all; and I’ll bet some of you would relish a chance to show that off.
Of course, whether or not that should happen, rest assured that there’s always going to be a spot for you just to go off, as needed; and given that we broke the 100-mark for comments for the first time, last week, I can only assume that shouldn’t be a problem.
As ever, I have a safe and productive rest of day, safe trip home, and a great weekend. And remember:
