Today I woke up to the tragic news that legendary French New Wave/Left Bank filmmaker and artist Agnes Varda has died at 90. She was one of my artistic inspirations, and one of the very best filmmakers to ever live. I figured that I would start this thread as a place for me and my fellow Avocado members could share our favorite memories of her life and work. RIP to a true icon and trailblazer.
