Actor Raúl Juliá was born on March 9, 1940 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He had an acting career on Broadway and in films and television that stretched for more than 20 years. This included his Golden Globe and Emmy winning role in the TV Movie The Burning Season.

But I’m sure that most of us remember him best as the dapper Gomez Addams in two Addams Family movies.
