Hey, all; Happy Friday-
So, full disclosure: I’ve been wracking my brain this entire week trying to think of an adequate topic, and I actually fell asleep last night before coming up with one. Irony or ironies, this actually helped, for it forced me to think of a question for not only all of you, but actually myself, as well.
I don’t know about all of you, but, I’m in my place of work for at least 8 hours a day, coupled with an hour on both ends of my commute. As one might imagine, by the time I get home, I have the energy reserves of a solar calculator. Indeed, it’s gotten to the point where I’ve figured out I have about an hour after stepping off the evening subway where I can still function as a person before I go inert for the rest of the night.
Am I alone in this? I know from reading all of your posts that you all have jobs and positions which can cause varying levels of stress; how do you yourselves manage to keep it together off the clock, or, like myself, are you even able to?
As usual, if you don’t feel like answering the question (or are already half-asleep) feel free to just rant about whatever has you down this week. Have a safe and productive rest of the day, an (especially) safe trip home, and a great weekend. And remember: It’s 5 o’clock somewhere; so WAKE UP!
