Who is Kang The Conqueror? Is he Nathanial Richards, a scholar born in the 40th Century?

Yes.

Is he Pharaoh Rama-Tut, born in Egypt circa 2950 BC?

Also yes.

Is he Victor Timely?

Yes.

…Victor Timely Jr.?

Mmm-hmm.

… Victor Timely the Third?

He’s all the Victor Timelies.

Is he someone called… let me check this… “The Whisperer”?

According to Wikipedia… yes.

Is he Immortus, the Lord of Time?

Inexplicably, yes.

Isn’t he also Iron Lad?

I’m afraid so.

And Marcus Kang the XXIII, the Scarlet Centuri…

YES!

Kang the Conqueror is the subject of a song from one of my favorite filk bands, Ookla the Mok. They are named after a monster from the cartoon Thundarr the Barbarian. I like to wear socks underneath my crocs while I rock to Ookla the Mok. The song comes from their album Vs. Evil, a collection of songs about Marvel and DC villains. The last track, “Suprema Lex” is probably my favorite as it gets to the psychology of Superman’s biggest villain. “Everybody’s Kang the Conqueror” is the most fun, though, as it takes a swipe at confusing comic book continuities.

As of this writing, Kang the Conqueror has not appeared in the MCU.

OR HAS HE?!???
