October 4th is the birthday of Buster Keaton, one of the greatest actors and directors in movie history.

Since October is the time for horror movies, I decided to focus on one of his lesser known short films, 1921’s The Haunted Castle.

In this one, Buster is working at a bank that’s owner is planning on robbing. The owner is planning on hiding the stolen money in a house that’s rigged so people think it’s haunted. However, thanks to a glue mishap from Buster, he unknowingly foils the robbery and winds up in the house…
