Last week, while joking about airport novels and first edition Iliads,Romanes Eunt Domus proposed that we should launch a game of Exquisite Corpse here on the Avocado. I thought it was a great idea, and, well, here we are.

Exquisite Corpse is a pass time wherein the players take turns writing a chapter of a story, then pass it along to the next player. Players can take the story in whatever direction they want, but once they had the story off to the next player, they have no say in what happens next.

In a perfect world, a bunch of us will sign up to play and we’ll all have some laughs. And so, we’re putting this up to test the waters and see how much interest there is in something like this. We need to work out how long a chapter should be, how frequently we post, and the mechanics of sharing this story.
