Today in July 8th history

I had blundered the “Daily Thread” by posting it at 8 am instead of 11 am.

I was not aware of the rules. I was just young Mr S trying to be a part of a wonderful crew at the AV Club After Dark.

I was about to be tarred, feathered, and exiled until a small band of commenters stuck up for me.

I appreciate those that had my back that day. I appreciate those that have made me feel welcome here, especially when I post before thinking – it’s happened more than once! Thanks for helping me wipe egg off my face.
