For a lot of people Memorial Day marks the beginning of grilling season, then there are those of us who cook outdoors over a flame any time of year. Today I’m road tripping from Chicago to Cleveland which I hear is a good food city so I’ll try to avoid too many road foods and save up my appetite.
Is this the beginning of your grilling season or do you just go ahead and fire up the grill when the mood strikes, weather be damned? Do you have any grilling conventions that you absolutely abide by? How about tips? Also my stepson recently moved into a building with balconies and they are allowed gas grills, that’s something I’m not familiar with so anybody with tips for how to make it into more than just a supercharged outdoor cooktop are welcome.
Oh, anybody have Memorial Day plans?
