[Citation Needed] Weird Pop Trivia You Learned from Wikipedia

One of my favorite features on the Mothership is the Wiki Wormhole; brought to you by a very special monster. I thought I would start a thread that goes a bit in the opposite direction. Often when I’m reading Wikipedia, I come across some bizarre, random factiod that seems so inconsequential I think it must be fabricated. But then I find there’s usually a citation.

1. Brian May, the guitarist for Queen, is an astrophysicist. This is widely known, but he also published a book on stereo photography.
