This week’s recommended discussion:  I was inspired by a one-star review I read on Amazon:  “I’m writing this review from the grave….I died of boredom.”  This seemed to be the consensus of the negative reviews, but this one in particular cracked me up.  An easy joke?  Yes, but still a nice piece of business, especially when its own entertainment value and economy are inversely proportionate to the book it’s reviewing.  Reader reviews, comments from friends, lit professors, other writers, critics – what are some of your favorite takedowns or raves?
