Let’s play a little game.
Here at the Avocado, many of us like to quote dialogue from The Simpsons at every opportunity. But I thought it might be fun to see how long we can carry on an intelligible conversation using only quotes from The Simpsons.
The goal here isn’t just to quote a bunch of lines from The Simpsons that we think are funny, but to have each comment make sense as a response to the comment before it. For example, if someone says, “By cutting off cable TV and the beer supply, I can insure an honest winter’s work out of these lowlifes”, someone else could respond, “You can’t seriously want to ban alcohol. It tastes great, makes women appear more attractive, and makes a person virtually invulnerable to criticism.” A third person could then chime in saying, “Without it we’d have had no fun since March of 1961!”
What do ya say? Anyone want to take up this incredibly nerdy challenge with me?
