- The Challenger disaster. I was about to turn six when seven astronauts were killed when the space shuttle Challenger disintegrated shortly after liftoff. What do you remember of that day?
- The last days of the Nixon White House. What was it like to live through – what do you remember that we can’t get from our history books?
- The arrival of the comet Kohoutek. It was supposed to be the most remarkable astronomical event of the century … until it fizzled out unceremoniously. What do you remember of the hype? What was the mood after the disappointment?
