Avocado Sight & Sound: The Best Movies According to Us

It’s been one year since I did the Avocado Sight & Sound and it’s time to do it again. People have left us since then, people have joined us since then, and opinions change. Here’s the rules for the new arrivals/people with more pressing things to remember than the rules of my silly little thing:

1.) Choose your ten favorite movies and list them in alphabetical order.
2.) That’s it.

You may write a short piece on the movies and why you consider them your favorites as well. Also, obvious jokes ballots won’t be counted.

If you want to alter your ballot, please inform me afterwards.

Here’s the spreadsheet for this year: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W7wI08S0Xo3jo-hS-hcjPbNQxsXBGtDW746Vm1ndz5Y/edit?usp=sharing

Here’s my ballot, to give you all an example (you don’t have to follow my example directly):

1.) 2001: A Space Odyssey, directed by Stanley Kubrick, 1968
2.) Citizen Kane directed by Orson Welles, 1941
3.) The Godfather directed by Francis Ford Coppola, 1972
4.) Raiders Of The Lost Ark directed by Steven Spielberg, 1981
5.) The Searchers directed by John Ford, 1956
6.) Seven Samurai directed by Akira Kurosawa, 1954
7.) Singin’ In The Rain directed by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly, 1952
8.) Taxi Driver directed by Martin Scorsese, 1976
9.) Tokyo Story directed by Yasujiro Ozu, 1953
10.) Vertigo directed by Alfred Hitchcock, 1958
