By the Book: The Miracle Morning – This episode cracked me up, because of their enjoyment of the douchebaggery of the author and because of the extreme grumpiness on display at the beginning of both “miracle mornings”, which sound like complete BS, by the way. I really love By the Book, even when they choose books I’m less interested in hearing about, so this was no exception.

Criminal Episode 82: The Choir – HUGE trigger warning for discussion of sexual abuse of a child. This episode is extremely tough to listen to as someone recounts his story of childhood sexual abuse and of trying to stop the man from harming more children.

This American Life #635: Chip in my Brain – It’s not surprising considering how I grew up, but I’m fascinated by cults. This is a story that’s unique even for cult stories, because it’s a cult of a very small handful of people and two of those people are children. It’s horrifying and interesting to listen to at the same time.

Sawbones: Raw Water –  I just loved listening to these two gently tear apart the utter stupidity of the “raw water” movement.
