I was talking with my friends the other day about how the PS2 probably has the best lineup of classic games ever (Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Psychonauts, Jak and Dexter, OG Ratchet and Clank, Destroy All Humans, etc.). And how those games and franchises felt like they had heart to them. But now with the addition of the internet to gaming, while there are positives like playing games with friends and family from across the globe and not even having to leave the house to buy a game, there are also a lot of negatives. Like an abundance of DLC that should just be in the game, Loot Crates (fuck you EA), pay to win games, being called racial slurs by a 10 yr old in Colorado because they lost, etc.
So has the internet kind of ruined gaming?
