Taylor Swift just released a new album, and Taylor Swift is one of the more fun artists to discuss. You can discuss her transformation from “innocent,” girl-next-door singer songwriter to bratty pop diva, debate how self aware her lyrics are, evaluate the quality of the songcraft, or just enjoy the soapy melodrama of it all. I filmed a review of her new album Reputation, and some of you were asking to see it, so I’ve posted it here to get the ball rolling. (If you want to do me a favor, I’d greatly appreciate feedback on the review…I’m still getting used to youtube reviewing and I want to improve.) At any rate I’m highly curious to hear what this commentariat thought of the album….I think it’s going to be very polarizing.
