What’s done in darkness comes eventually to light. The cabal moved in darkness. Making high-stakes maneuvers in the dead of night. Playing a game of cosmic chess using their postulants as pawns.

Under the bleakness of a moonless night, Mirage sat and stared out toward the courthouse from behind the steering wheel of her hatchback, her face freckled with perspiration as she tried to imagine what was happening inside the jury room. The plan never had a chance in hell and she knew it. The vigilante wasn’t coming to set fire to the courthouse with the jurors inside it. Not this night. She spotted outlines of the jurors filing out into the parking lot and she cursed under her breath.

She decided then that she would have to kill one of the jurors herself. Reaching into her glove compartment to fish around for a pistol, she heard a rattle against her window. Just as she turned to see what it was, a decisive bullet shattered the glass and tore through the bridge of her nose.

Mirage was killed. She was bought by the cabal on night three after serving the same night on the jury.

The jurors drove home in safety and hadn’t heard the loud bang when Mirage was shot. Perhaps it was the euphoria that came with knowing they’d made the right choice that deafened them to the sound. They’d found the defendant guilty of all charges brought against her and furthermore they’d recommended for punishment a thing called chin-scalping – hanging the defendant by her illustrious and voluminous beard which they’d always been jealous of. Little did they know a chin-scalping also happened to be her preferred death.

At the end of each day phase, the player with the most votes is named the Defendant for the night phase following immediately. If there’s a tie, the tied player who reached the most number of votes first is selected.

You vote by replying to the very first comment which I have titled VOTE THREAD. It is easy to find if you sort comments to oldest. To change you vote, simply post another reply. DO NOT EDIT YOUR INITIAL VOTE.

The default vanilla QT looks like this:

– You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.


– You have no abilities save for inclusion in the jury pool but I hear they give those away to pretty much anyone these days.
– Your strength is your vote and your intellect. You must use it to decide alongside everyone else during each day phase on the player to be put on trial and be named the Defendant for the night.


Please make at least 3 posts per game-day (24 hours) or you will be replaced.

Rather, read through and think very well about your comment before posting it. Editing a post may get you modkilled and end up hurting your team and the game overall.

A typical day will end after 24 hours unless a majority vote is reached before that. A typical night will end after 12 hours unless all night actions are received before that.
