Werewolf XX: WOLF COPS 2 – The Wolfening (DAY FOUR)

Detective Felixir hadn’t had much experience elsewhere before joining the precinct and he approached each new day on the job with the wide-eyed innocence of toddler equipped with basic knowledge of right and wrong. Like his fellow rookie officer Guesty (God rest his soul), Felixir was quickly becoming known as a stickler for procedure – much to the derision of some of his more experienced colleagues. They would observe often that he spent more time reading manuals on proper police procedure than he did working actual cases.

The long hours required to get decent police work done each day, however, never seemed to agree with him and he found himself falling far behind on his duties and failing to meet his quotas. After being subjected to a stern talking-to during his routine performance review and a mark against him in his file, Felixir decided to take a few days off to gain some much needed perspective while the rest of the precinct tried to sort out the mysterious disappearance of Det. Admirax from his holding cell.

During his short break, Detectives Nosilla and Liz took him out to lunch one afternoon and laid it out flat for him. “Look kid, you’re young,” Nosilla began. “You wanna survive in this field, you have to always be looking out for numero uno – Yourself. Cover your ass every chance you get. Always be mindful of when you’re being talked about and keep a detailed case-file on who’s doing the talking because it could come back to bite you in the ass.”

“Yeah,” Liz chimed in. “And don’t let pesky shit like family get in the way of your duties to the precinct. Family comes second to the force. Cut your family off if you need to. Cut the fvckers off and get your ass in gear.”

Felixir considered their advice and decided he would take it to heart. On the morning of his first day back, he woke up bright and early and decided to go for a quick jog around his apartment complex to get himself pumped before reporting for duty. During his third lap around the complex he stopped briefly to catch his breath behind one building’s electric meters.

That’s when he heard someone whistle – sharp and distinct – coming from his left side. He’d recognize that whistle anywhere as it belonged to one of his fellow officers. He straightened himself up and turned to meet the officer with a bewildered expression and no sooner did he find himself staring down the barrel of the officer’s shotgun. The bullet sent him flying a few feet off the ground before dropping him hard on his ass.

Minutes later, medics pronounced dead on arrival.

You vote by replying to the very first comment which I have titled VOTE THREAD. It is easy to find if you sort comments to oldest. To change you vote, simply post another reply. DO NOT EDIT YOUR INITIAL VOTE.

Each day/night, all vanilla cops submit a name in their QT belonging to someone they’d like to investigate. Only one randomly selected cop each night will have the name confirmed as good/bad/maybe. If a name is submitted by more than two cops, no results on that name are returned.

Two Vanilla cops are also partnered (Masons already confirmed town to each other) and will be able to communicate daily in a squad car (Mason QT).

Three Vanilla cops are also UC Operatives (Level One) and will be working separately in effort to infiltrate the new WOLF COP SYNDICATE. Their mission during the day is to do everything in their power to bait the Wolf Cops into taking one of them in as a Wolf Cop Recruit. The first one of them who is recruited will be promoted to Undercover Operative (Level Two). The remaining two will then be decomissioned and continue their day jobs as vanilla cops.

Once per night, the Internal Affairs agent (Jail Keeper) may target an officer to be protected (“bringing them in for questioning”). This will protect them from one kill or recruitment for one night and will also block whatever night-action they attempt (this includes vanilla cop investigations).

On one night of their choosing, the FBI Specialist (1-Shot Vigilante) may attempt to nightkill one officer they suspect is either a Wolf Cop or the Mafia Mole.

Once per night, the Mafia Mole (Serial Killer) may target an officer, thus killing them. The Mafia Mole is also now immune to night-kills

The Tree Stump has no vote or investigation and won’t be counted as Vanilla Cop or Wolf Cop. They are also immune to night-kills.

Each night, the Wolf cops may either use a factional nightkill or recruit an officer to join their ranks. As long as the 3-Shot Wolf Cop Recruiter is still alive and hasn’t used up all their shots, it can only either be one or the other each night. In addition to that, the Wolf Cop Roleblocker can target a player each night, blocking whatever night-action they attempt (this includes vanilla cop investigations).

Please make at least 3 posts per game-day (36 hours) or you will be replaced.

A typical day will end after 36 hours unless a majority vote is reached before that. A typical night will end after 24 hours unless all night actions are received before that.

Only one Vanilla Cop by random selection each night will have the name they submit confirmed as either [good], [maybe], or [bad].
If you are selected to have the name you submit confirmed but two other Vanilla Cops or more submitted the same name, you will return a [no result].
If you are selected to have the name you submit confirmed but you did not submit one, you will return nothing.
If you are selected to have the name you submit confirmed but you are either roleblocked or jailkept, you will return nothing.




Day 4 ends at 10:30AM CT Tuesday or if a majority lynch vote is reached first.
