With the “fun” of April Fool’s Day behind us, it’s important to continue to take stock of various victories that are happening. It’s easy to get used to the oppressive way that the administration continues to just hit everywhere all the time, but the pushback is there – just less reported on, because it’s not as sexy.

More seats in the House continue to flip. The Senate is leaning more and more like a flip, the courts are going through the cases and, even if they end up being late in some cases, there are enough victories to stymie a lot of the plans of Project 2025. It’s easy to just believe we’re constantly losing, because that’s how it’s presented in the flashies of news spiels.

But as we saw with around nine million people protesting, the numbers are shifting and it’s being reflected more and more in the polling.

The hard work is still ahead, but savor the victories we hit along the way.
