Discussion Prompt: How much backstory is too much backstory for your TTRPG player character? Where’s the happy medium between the “amnesia-stricken orphan” and the “protagonist of a self-published novella”? Does it depend on whether your planning a character for a simple one-shot vs a long-term campaign?
