Another world, another time. In the age of wonder. A thousand years ago, this land was green and good. Until the crystal cracked… and then there were werewolfs just all over the place.
Disclaimer: I have no idea if this setup will work. Seriously, if someone sees a way that the game might break completely on Day 1 please let me know and I will adjust the rules.
Players: This game is designed for 23-25 people? Can we do that? If not I’ll adjust the numbers and probably also the rules.
Roles:
9 Skeksis (Wolfs)
- skekUng the Emperor – Formerly the Garthim-Master, you ascended to the throne after your predecessor crumbled into dust. Counterpart of urIm the Healer.
- skekSil the Chamberlain – MMMMmmm? you say. A lot. You were cast out of the castle after making a play for Emporer but losing Trial by Stone. Counterpart of urSol the Chanter.
- skekZok the Ritual-Master – You are a stabby religious creep. Counterpart of urZah the Ritual Guardian.
- skekTek the Scientist – Someone has to make the machine that drains all of the planet’s creatures of their life’s essence, and that person is you. Counterpart to urTih the Alchemist.
- skekShod the Treasurer – In charge of the money, I guess? Honestly you don’t have a huge role in the movie but the important thing is that you are also evil and creepy. Counterpart to urYod the Numerologist.
- skekOk the Scroll-Keeper – Back when there were Gelfling, you used to travel to each clan to record their tithes. Now that there are, uh, no longer Gelfling, you mostly just hang out. Counterpart to urAc the Scribe.
- skekNa the Slave-Master – In charge of zombified Podlings, which, like, what a job to pick, my dude. You could have been an Ornamentalist and called it a day. Counterpart to urNol the Herbalist.
- skekEkt the Ornamentalist – You mostly hang out, looking fabulous. Also can be plenty murdery when the need arises. Counterpart to urUtt the Weaver.
- skekAyuk the Gourmand – In charge of the menu, and, like, mostly gossiping, I guess? Also can be plenty murdery when the need arises. Counterpart of urAmaj the Cook.
9 urRu (Anti-wolfs)
- urIm the Healer – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekUng the Emperor.
- urSol the Chanter – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekSil the Chamberlain.

- urTih the Alchemist – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekTek the Scientist.
- urYod the Numerologist – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekShod the Treasurer.
- urAc the Scribe – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekOk the Scrolllkeeper.
- urNol the Herbalist – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekNa the Slave-master.
- urUtt the Weaver – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekEkt the Ornamentalist.
- urAmaj the Cook – You hang out and hum a lot. Counterpart of skekAyuk the Gourmand.
5-6 Creatures of Thra (Town)
- Aughra, Keeper of Secrets – You are immortal! Kind of. You cannot be killed until all other creatures of Thra have been killed. (Town Kind-of-Immortal)
- Kira, a Gelfling – Raised by Pod People, you are well-versed in the ways of the world. You have a cute terror-dog and surprise wings. (Town Roleblocker)
- Jen, a Gelfling – Raised by the urRu in seclusion, you are utterly clueless about pretty much everything. You have no dog and no wings. But you can read! That’s something! (Town Alignment Investigator)
- Pod People – You just want to hang out, enjoy a hot meal, rock out on some gourds, look like a potato. Unfortunately the Skeksis like to drink your life’s very essence in a desperate bid for immortality. Alas. (Vanilla Town)
Rules:
Skeksis Rules:
- Goal: You are the Lords of the Crystal and this planet is yours. Skeksis win as a group if they eliminate Town.
- Notes: Skeksis do not start out sharing one big chat; instead they share chats in cliques of three. Each night each clique names a player to kill. The mod determines which kill goes through using RNG. Fun! If the surviving Skeksis drop down to three, they will be put in a new chat together if they aren’t already.
- Extra Death: If an urRu dies (whether Night Kill or Day Kill), their Skeksis counterpart dies too. Yikes!
urRu Rules:
- Goal: You know better than this, you just need your other halfs to know better than this too. urRu win individually if they find their Skeksis counterpart and evolve to another plane of existence. However, all individual wins are void if all members of Town are killed.
- Notes: Each night each urRu must say the name of player. If the player is their counterpart Skeksis, they evolve to another plane of existence and exit the game. If the player is a Skeksis who is not their counterpart, they learn the name of that Skeksis. If the player is a fellow urRu, they join each other in a chat. If the player is a Creature of Thra, that player is safe from Night Kill. urRu may share knowledge across chats as they see fit.
- Extra Death: If a Skeksis dies (whether Night Kill or Day Kill), their urRu counterpart dies too. Yikes!
Creatures of Thra Rules:
- Goal: You just want to get all these weirdos off your planet. The Creatures of Thra win once all urRu and Skeksis have exited the game, by whatever means (evolving, dying).
- Note: Roleblocker will block a kill if they choose any member of the clique whose kill was chosen. Cannot block Aughra from being Kind-of-Immortal. Cannot block same person twice in a row.
