Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! Short on time today, but here’s a good song to check out! aoen is a new group that includes the two non-debuting members who stood out to me the most when I watched the audition show &TEAM was formed on (Gaku because he cried when V from BTS said something to him on a video call, and Hikaru because he dances pretty). So I was happy for them when they found their own group to debut with (and they feel like &TEAM’s little brother to me). This song is fun because it feels like two completely different songs thrown together, which I love!
