Wrapping up their Story of Light series, SHINee released The Story of Light: Epilogue on September 10th 2018. If you missed it, you can read about (and listen to) EP 1 here and EP 2 here and EP 3 here.
The Story of Light: Epilogue contains the songs from the 3 EPs, along with a new song, “Countless”. The way the songs are arranged make for a very enjoyable listening experience, each song flows into the next in a way that just feels right, there isn’t a single moment that feels out of place or unnecessary. And the new song fits in perfectly. The internet says it’s R&B/tropical house which is probably true, but I think of it as “melodic dance with feelings”.
As a bonus, here’s a live performance of one of my favorite ballads from the album, “Who Waits For Love”. It’s a great showcase of their vocals and stage presence. I’ve watched it…a lot.
