Thank you to every who participated in nominations for the 2025 Avocado Snubby Awards, honoring the best filmwork not nominated at this year’s Oscars. Now we get to vote among the nominees to choose our Snubby Winners!

Notes

• This year to work out the nominees, I decided to rely on straight up RNG to break ties where needed. We have 10 nominees in Best Picture and 5 in most other categories. In some categories I allowed a 6th nominee just to be nice (generally if the contenders tied for 5th all had a decent number of votes, I allowed the extra nomination slot.)
• I also didn’t feel like I had to disqualify or otherwise make any weird rulings this year, so that’s nice.
• Most Nominated Films: No Other Choice (9), Wake Up Dead Man (7), Weapons (6)

Below in the comments will be the nominees in each category. Please do not add more films, simply vote for your preference among these nominees. I encourage plenty of discussion and advocating for your favorites. I will allow voting up to Sunday, March 15th.
