Hello everyone, Lamb here continuing our annual tradition of the Snubby Awards. As always, credit to the original organizer of these awards, the legendary Cookie Monster.

To recap the point of the Snubbies, it’s an award show for the best films and performance ignored or under appreciated at this year’s Oscars (who announced their nominees last month). The rules are simple: I will post the Oscar categories (plus a few non-Oscar categories) below. Anyone can then reply to submit a snubbed 2025 film / performance for that category. For each category I’ll list who the Oscars nominated so you don’t accidentally renominate them.

Support submissions you think are worthy of a Snubby Nomination with your upvotes. The top five upvote-getters will be our nominees (ten in Best Snubbed Picture). I’ll say I actually prefer if you do upvote your own nominees, but it’s fine if you don’t, I’ll still count your nomination of it as a vote.

Voting will be open for two weeks, at least until February 25th at Noon EST. I emphasize this so you know you have time to watch some more movies if you want to, please feel free to come back and add Nominations/votes up until that deadline.

If there’s any confusion about which films are eligible to be submited or which category a performance should be included in, I’ll make the deciding call, with some guidelines I’ll note in the comments.
