The 29 January Night Thread of “The Irish Rovers Special” by K-Tel

This marks one of the rare times when K-Tel puts out a compilation of a single group and not just a cash grab of 20 popular songs. Don’t be dismayed– there’s still 20 songs.

The Irish Rovers are a Canadian folk group of Irish ex-pats formed in Toronto (Canada, not California) in 1963 and they’re still going today with one original member. I remember “The Unicorn Song”, I had a music treacher in elementary school (early 80s) that played a version in our class, but not this one.
