Optional Discussion Topic: Motivation

We often think about what motivates our characters, but also, what motivates you? Why have you sat down with pen and paper or keyboard and screen and chosen to send words into the universe? Why do you keep doing it (if you do keep doing it)? Why do you feel like it’s something you ought to be doing when you’re not? Is the answer a constant, or does it change by the hour?
