Hey folks! We’re recording the next episode of the AVoCADo GamesCast this weekend! We can record either on Saturday or Sunday evening, Eastern time.
This is our annual start-of-the-year episode, so we’ll be discussing:
- What we played over the holidays
- AGDQ 2026 (if there is interest)
- Our predictions from last year
- Our predictions for this year
- The delay prediction game (hat tip to Andy Tuttle)
- What we’re anticipating in 2026
Since Skype has been decommissioned, we have moved to Discord for recording. We’ve set up a Discord server, and we’ll invite guests to it when they sign up to participate.
If you are available and want to participate, please provide in the comments below:
- Your Discord username, if I don’t already have it, so I can invite you to the server1
- Which evenings you’re available this weekend2
Recording should take roughly 3.5 hours.
As always, the GamesCast welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds. Regardless of your age, gender, sexual orientation, or cultural background, if you have something to say, we’d love to have you. We would especially love to have more women+ on the podcast; please sign up if you’re interested. Newcomers are welcome. The only hardware requirements are a decent-quality mic for recording (the mic on a mid-range headset usually suffices) and a stable Internet connection.
Let’s chat about video games!
