Tonight the first episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms premieres on HBO Max. Set in the Game of Thrones universe, it is an adaption of George R.R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg novella series, following the adventures of a lowly Hedge Knight. It will have a 6-episode first season, with episodes to be about a half-hour in length.

The premiere episode, “The Hedge Knight,” is directed by Owen Harris and written by Ira Parker.
