I just saw Soviet made animated adaptations of Alice In Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass. Directed by Yefrem Pruzhanskyi each book gets about a half hour. While this does mean they feel rushed as they run from vignette it is made up for with animation that blends Monty Python style cut outs with more traditional animation. They’re on YouTube so you should definitely check them out if Soviet Cartoons are your tempo!
