Today’s Gumball thread is dedicated to the series’s first real “mythos” episode: Season 3’s “The Void,” in which Gumball and Darwin investigate a missing and forgotten classmate whose disappearance left scars in reality itself.

They dig up clues leading to Molly, a dinosaur whose lack of personality caused the writers of the show to stop using her as a secondary character after season 1, and team up with their tinfoil-hatted guidance counselor (Mr. Small, consistently one of the show’s funniest supporting characters) to find the void where reality exiles all its mistakes.
