Welcome to Week 16, where many of our favorite teams have been eliminated from postseason contention. There’s always next season, unless you’re the Jets. Seriously, I wanted to find a screencap of that NFL TV ad which was running earlier this season that basically said it was anyone’s year. The last few seconds of the ad features a GIANT Jets float. How dare you give such a damaged fanbase hope? Granted, as a Vikings fan myself I really shouldn’t talk.

We start off the week with a Thursday Night Football game that’s accidentally….good? Temper your expectations accordingly.

With the regular season in college football over, it’s also time for the NFL to take over Saturdays, making the Sunday lineup even more anemic. I personally don’t like this, it never feels good. Watching RedZone in the late window with only four games with most of them not being competitive has never been cool.
