Looks like the Vancouver Canucks are officially in a rebuild now, trading franchise defenseman Quinn Hughes to Minnesota for defender Zeev Buium, forwards Marco Rossi and Liam Ohgren, and a 2026 first-round draft pick. This is a huge deal for both teams and also seems to indicate that the Minnesota Wild are in “win-now” mode after a number of disappointing early playoff departures.
