Making a separate thread for the giving drive this year!

The drive starts today and will last until 12/15 at 10am CT. Our goal is $1,245, $10 for each Avocado participating in Giftmas and an extra $5 from each person for a giftcard for Jaye. We did things a little differently this year for Giftmas. We pre-selected UNICEF as one charity so that at least one charity was not entirely US-Centric. We also pre-selected The Nature Conservancy in honor of Sirilicious, who passed away this year. Information on both charities is below! Our top vote-getter was RAICES and that will be the final charity! We also asked that everyone who was willing to earmark some of their donation to get a pre-paid giftcard for Jaye Tyler to thank her for setting up Christmas the past nine years. If you would like to do that, please note in your donation comment how much you’d like set aside for Jaye. The rest will be shared evenly between the three charities!:
