Geez, I don’t know about you but I sure don’t feel like it’s late November. For me it may partly be due to the fact that my wife’s family isn’t coming to town this year. New baby in their family who isn’t old enough to be vaccinated and safe to fly yet. They’re all going to see my nephew’s daughter so we’ll have a quiet time with just five of us for dinner. We’ll have the standard sides- mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and green bean casserole. I bought a couple turkey legs & thighs to put on the smoker. Not enough meat eaters to justify an entire bird. We might smoke some other things too for fun. Pies will be made and a cheesecake too. Already planning on making pizzas with the leftovers next Sunday.
