It has felt like so much football, yet also very little. But with the conclusion of Week 9, we will have watched half of this year’s NFL regular season. How is your team holding up? Have you driven yourself to make a silly graphic like the teaser image?

Of course, I hope J.J. McCarthy plays well. Not just because I am a Vikings fan, but holy hell it would just suck if he crashed out of the NFL like this. And frankly, even if McCarthy probably won’t fare well on the road against the Lions Sunday, at least we no longer have to watch Carson Wentz attempt to play football. At least for this year. I’m sure he’ll start for the seventh different team in seven years next season.

Only four teams are on the bye this week, though two of them will be notable for their absences. There’s also the New York Jets. But seriously, congrats to the Jets for winning last week. They made their fans proud, at least for one week. And I guess they’ll defeat the bye week as well.
