Today’s header image shows John Tavares of the Maple Leafs scoring his 500th career goal (awesome!) in what turned out to be a 6-3 loss to the Blue Jackets (also awesome, haha). He is the fifth active NHL player to reach that milestone and the 49th player of all time.
