Fully Claymation Arcade Shooter Platypus Gets a Remake
There was this computer game from like 2002 called Platypus, a pretty straightforward side-scrolling space shooter, where every single asset was hand-modeled with real clay. I loved that game, it was beautiful to look at and the gameplay was simple yet very fun. It just recently got a remake: Platypus Reclayed! Look look it’s so cool:
You can pick it up for like 15 dollars on any platform. Give it a try if it looks like you’d enjoy it! I know this isn’t, like, a show, but novel applications of stop-motion still fall under the general umbrella of Animation Time, I feel.
