Werewolf 240: Crazy Ex-Girlfiend – Day 3

After one day of progress, we slid back again, failing to get to the root of the problem.

The boy with the bass and the totally healthy obsession with having a significant other that was out of his league wandered the street. Was he looking down? Was there Christmas music playing as he slowly trudged along? It is hard to say.

But he couldn’t keep himself in the dumps. For he had a dream that he would meet a girl–the girl of his dreams! It didn’t matter if she thought he was acting like a stalker, he believed in himself.

Maybe this dream wouldn’t lead to disgrace! Maybe this dream was in reach! Maybe this dream wouldn’t poop on his face, like a seagull at the beach!

As he started to dream, he suddenly heard something nearby. He was scared, but he remembered a song to help his nerves, so he quietly sang to himself.

Face your fears.

Stare them down.

Don’t be scared.

Stand your ground.

‘Cause nothing is as scary

As it appears.

All you gotta do

Is face your fears.

Was it a bear? Or an evil ex, maybe?

If it was a bear, all he’d have to do is put his hand on its chest and say, “Bear, I’m not afraid.”

If it was an ex, just fight ’em, get the coins and move on. They pull out a gun, he’d pull out his knife (not Knives, though, she was a different matter).

He knew he could take them on. He had studied for this, prepared to take on any baddies so he could get the girl of his dreams.

But as he stepped forward, his shoe got caught and before he knew it, he was on the ground and in striking distance of the assailant.

He looked into his killer’s eyes and thought, “Well, that’s a murderer.”

After everything he had done for everyone (that they didn’t ask for), he was nothing but a pile of coins in the end.

Sic humor has been eliminated. He was Paula (town tracker).

A new day rises in West Covina. But is anyone singing anyone else’s song?

Factions

Town:

  • West Covina residents (vanilla town) – No power except their votes and the songs in their hearts. Win when wolves and Trent are eliminated and no other conditions interfere.
  • Heather (JOAT) – Has taken many, many college courses and thus has a variety of skills. She has 1-shots of investigation, doctor, and watcher that she may use one of on a night of her choosing.
  • Josh (vigilante) – Can deliver a kick in the face to a person of his choice every odd night, eliminating them. If he targets Rebecca, they become lovers instead.
  • Greg (jailer) – Fixes one player a drink each night which knocks them out cold, preventing them from performing or being affected by any night actions. Cannot be used on himself, nor can he pick the same person on two consecutive nights. If he targets Rebecca, they become lovers instead.
  • Paula (tracker) – Stalks one person each night to see if they targeted anyone.

Wolves:

  • Nathaniel (wolf roleblocker) – Each night, prevents a player from performing a night action. Cannot pick the same person on two consecutive nights. If he targets Rebecca, they become lovers instead.
  • George (wolf backup) – Replaces Nathaniel as roleblocker if he is eliminated from the game. If, as roleblocker, he targets Rebecca, the block will not go through.
  • Jim (vanilla wolf)

Independent:

  • Rebecca (Serial Lover) – Each night, Rebecca picks one person to hook up with. If she picks Josh, Greg, Nathaniel, or Trent, they will share a lovers chat. If she picks someone else, nothing happens. If Rebecca is eliminated from the game, all her connected lovers are eliminated as well, but if one of Rebecca’s lovers is eliminated, she will still survive. Rebecca wins if she and her connected lover(s) make up the majority of living players.
  • Valencia (role investigator) – As Czar of Torture, threatens a player each night to see who they really are (vanilla town and vanilla wolves read as ‘vanilla’). Wins (and exits the game) if Josh is eliminated.
  • Trent (Serial Killer) – Targets a player each night to eliminate. If he targets Rebecca, they become lovers instead. Wins if he is connected to Rebecca and all other possible lovers are eliminated. If Rebecca is eliminated from the game (and is not connected to him), Trent wins when he is the last player left.
Rules

Players are not allowed to edit comments, nor can they quote or screencap private chats without permission from the moderator. Failure to comply may result in a modkill.

Ties will result in no players being killed.

Should a GIRLFRIEND (Get It Right, Like, For Real, If Everyone’s Nearly Dead) scenario occur, autokill will not come into effect until all players have voted.

Please be respectful to all players. Attack arguments, not people. This is just a game, and we’re all here to have a good time.
