(We will not set clearly delineated boundaries on who qualifies as a ‘person of color.’ As a starting point, this thread uses the definition of ‘non-European heritage of sufficient prominence to affect one’s navigation of a society built on white normativity.’ However, we recognize that there are identities which skirt either side of the divide. If people feel that they meaningfully experience the identity of being a person of color, then they are welcome to participate.)

It’s your regularly scheduled Stars here. Back in charge. Big shout out to @Jim on the move, for some great threads during AANHPI heritage month. Also for taking the thread on when it was my birthday last month & I was struggling. It’s hard to describe how difficult the day can be for me [footnote]some of which I discussed in a In All Seriousness thread a few days ago.[/footnote]. Part of me wonders how much is to do with cultural expectations & the fragmented nature of marginalised communities?
