I stumbled on this video because I was trying to match beinggreen’s night thread, but it’s actually kind of cool. It’s from a now-obscure early 2000s DirecTV and MTV series called Music In High Places, where they sent musicians around the world to experience new cultures (and, of course, perform their hit songs). The Goo Goo Dolls episode sent them to some very remote, very pretty places in Alaska. Five performances from that episode (and a subsequent live DVD) are on the band’s YouTube channel.
