Hey, Kevzero here, I’m an amateur photographer based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I mostly take wildlife photos, but have been recently taking pictures of many other things. This week: Gravestones at Falmouth Old Burying Ground. Besides nature photography, my other favorite photography subject are the old cemeteries around Southern New England. There are all sorts of graveyards dating back to the Colonial and pre-Revolution Era scattered around the area. One of the oldest on Cape Cod is Falmouth Old Burying Ground in Falmouth MA. This cemetery has lots of beautiful, old headstones dating back to the late 17th Century. Some of the stones are in disrepair, but there has been as of late a movement restore some of the older stones. Here are a few of the headstone of this picturesque graveyard.
