As we get ready for our weekend birb event, and continue to deal with the final weeks of the 2024 election, we must make our way through Friday.

This week, I want to put some attention on area that comes up in the PT regularly with a look at a specific city in regard to its infrastructure, revitalization, transportation, and other issues that move through the world of politics and the lens of history with City Nerd spending a few days in Detroit. Is it the burned-out husk of rampant crime ala Robocop that right-wing broadcasts, articles, and websites make it out to be?
